AFRICAN FASHION FESTIVAL CANADA 2023

The African Fashion Festival Canada is one of Vancouver’s leading fashion festivals, bringing together communities from across the world, Vancouver and Canada, promoting tourism and reflecting Vancouver’s values as a harbour for celebrating diversity, arts, ideas and multicultural. With two full days of live music, heritage performers, food vendors, artisans, arts & crafts and multicultural fashion shows, the Festival celebrates the multicultural diversity of people of African Descent, immigrants and refugees.

The Festival aims to resuscitate the history of those of African Descent people, immigrants and refugees in British Columbia, Vancouver.

Although the festival will attract acclaimed headlining global talent, this two-day event is also a chance for local artists to have a performance outlet: the African Fashion Festival also aims to showcase local and up-and-coming Immigrants, Refugees and African Descent artists who may not otherwise get so many opportunities to perform in front of a large audience.
